How it started

Afterhour Sounds is since his begining in 2012 a crew of Music lovers, music makers and music supporters. What started as an idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany.

Our goal was and still is to enrich the world with our interpretation of the afterhour. We focuse on different electronical genres ranging, but not limited to, downtempo, deep house, melodic techno. Enjoy!

How its going

In the beginning, the Afterhour Sound collective focused our passion on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres.

In-house releases and events were not long in coming. The crew changed, but the passion and spirit remained.

Arka is the head of the afterhour crew. He is also a DJ since 2010. arkadiusz. His style includes both, deep driving bassdrums and melodic moments.

"Bock & Fuchs“ is based on the theory of the same name: to be full of „Bock“, describes giving it your all, while to be a „Fuchs“ means to be clever and astute, able to achieve anything, and the sky is the limit."

Super Admin

bpod or Ben is part of the afterhour crew since 2019 - but mostly for all the technical stuff, like hosting this website. As he is in electronic music since the good old "Rave" times in the 90´s, DJing was a logical consequence.

Florian El Diabolo

The newest member of the AHS crew, and responsible for premiere and marketing. Florian is a electronic music lover since the 2000s. His DJstyle ranges from downtempo to melodic & hard techno.
